So back from Chetumal MX after the overnight with Reign and Kim. Kim took us to Hotel Los Cocos which was a very nice hotel in the heart of Chetumal. We ate dinner Sat night at McD’s – ranks up there with one of the tastiest Big Mac’s I have ever had – not sure if thats because it has been nearly 10 months since I’ve any hint of fast food (*Irish brought me a Mac a few months back, but it was cold and didn’t have the whole meal deal) or because I was just plain hungry – but it was tasty! Then we went and watched up at the Cine! in Espanol! It was a good flick from what I could understand of it! Reign liked it too but was tough to follow with the spanish. By the time we got back to the hotel we were all exhausted and fell asleep pretty quickly.
Sunday we lazily woke up and wrestled on the beds as Kim and Reign tried to make me surrender to the ‘Girls Team’. I refused – of course! We had some good laughs and worked up an appetite for some breakfast. That lead us back to McD’s for some McMuffins and Pancakes… Again.. very very tasty! Spent the rest of the morning at the mall doing some small shopping and playing in the arcade. Lots of fun playing air hockey with Reign! She still has some Canadian blood in those tropical viens of hers! We hit the Mayan Museum after we checked out from the hotel and then went for some BK to change up our diet a bit… that was the last straw… the fast food had lost its appeal and instead of bagging some back to SP for dinner we opted to make a fresh grilled chicken salad instead. Killed the last bit of time before our transfer at the arcade again. Then back to Belize and what seemed like an eternal wait at the Corozal airstrip…sigh!
All in all, I love my daughter and she makes me happy and proud to be her father every time I see her. Love you Reign!
